How many accounts can I have?
Our service is unique - we allow users to have as many accounts as they wish, we do not have any limits!
You do not receive an account activation email.
You should receive an email styled "Account YourName.host56.com is ready!"
If you cannot receive the email message with account activation link there could be three common causes:
1. You have not entered a valid email address. If this is the case, you'll
have to register a new account.
2. Your email provider is blocking our emails or moving it to the spam
folder. Please check your filters and ensure that account activation
email is not in your spam folder.
3. Your account was not approved. Please ensure that you adhere to the
Terms and Conditions of 000Webhost and try again from my link

the email confirming that your account has been opened.
How do I register my own domain like yours to host it FREE on 000Webhost?
The best way to get your own website domain hosted is to first register your domain - make sure you can transfer the domain to 000Webhost.com. Once your domain is registered open a new Free Website by using my link or from your Control Panel (back office) with the new domain name you registered. Then get the people that registered your domain to point the nameservers to:

Do you have any file size or file type limits?
No, we do not have any file size limits and you may upload any files with any extensions.
However, we reserve a right to remove files larger than 5 MB, if some day we will start running out of disk space (this has never been done before).
How to transfer website from my current provider to your hosting?
If your website is not using MySQL databases, moving your site is very easy. Simply upload all your files to public_html folder on our server. If you have a PHP based website, check if it has any configuration files, where domain name or path to files can be set. Update these values if needed.
If your website is using MySQL, you need to move the database here and update configuration files of your scripts too.
1. Backup the database on the old server
If your current provider has any MySQL backup tool - use it. Or you can login to phpMyAdmin of your database and click on 'Export' tab. Choose 'Save as file' and select 'gzipped'. Download of of your database backup will start.
2. Creating database on our server
Once download is finished you will have file with the name something like "yourdatabase.sql.gz". Before you can restore database you need to create a database on our system. Please login to our members' area, enter your control panel and click on MySQL icon. Now choose username, database and password for your database. Now choose username, database and password for your database. Do not forget to write down these details on the paper as you will need them later!
3. Importing database to our server
Once you have database created, enter our phpMyAdmin (you will find it from our control panel). Once you are inside phpMyAdmin for your database click on 'Import' tab. Browse to the backup file of your database (yourdatabase.sql.gz for example) and click go. Database restoring procedure will begin - be patient, it can take a lot of time to complete if your backup size is large.
4. Updating configuration files
Now, when you have your database restored, you need to open configuration file of your PHP script and update database host, database name, database username and database password values. Use values that you written down on the paper when created new database.
My website is down! Please help.
1. Make sure you already updated nameservers.
If you are using your own domain (like yourdomain.com, for example), you need to point the domain to our nameservers. You can find the nameserver details after logging on to your CPanel -> View Account Details. For new accounts, you should wait around 24-48 hours for DNS propagation to be completed to ensure your domain works correctly.
2. Scheduled maintenance?
If we perform any scheduled maintenance on servers, you will see an announcements about this after logging on to members area and navigating to the control panel of domain.
3. Check our forum for news and announcements..
If we have any news regarding upcoming our unexpected downtime, we will always post information on our community forums.
4. Maybe it's your internet service provider problem?
To check that, please enter your website by using our Proxy Browser which is located on Members Area -> CPanel -> Domain Tools. If you can access your website by proxy browser, but cannot enter it from your computer, that means the outage is related to your internet service provider. Your should restart your internet connection and clear browser cache.
My domain was suspended for mass mail! Help!
If your account was suspended because of sending mass mail, please contact our help desk.
Please give us a valid reason why you have sent mass mail, which is strictly prohibited by our Terms Of Service. Our support team will check your account and unsuspend it.
My account was cancelled for abuse! Why?
If you see the message 'Cancelled for Abuse' on your account, it means it was terminated for violation of our Terms Of Service, located at:
Cancelled accounts cannot be reactivated or restored, so be sure to follow our TOS before publishing your website. For security reasons we cannot provide you with the exact reason why your account was terminated.
